Katy Digovich is a Co-founder and the CEO of Minutia, a biotech company working on a transplant of cells combined with nanoparticles that can serve as a functional cure for Type 1 Diabetes. Prior to founding Minutia, Katy was the Head of Special Projects on R&D for Clinton Health Access Initiative, where she led development of Clinton’s diabetes strategy and launched their global diabetes program. A second time founder, Katy has previously worked at the intersection of therapeutics and diagnostics in over 40 countries. She has been living with Type 1 diabetes for over 30 years, and brings a focus on patient impact and access to all her work. Passionate about bringing Minutia’s game-changing therapy to people living with diabetes, and applying Minutia’s innovative nanoparticle tracking and safety platform to stem cell derived therapies at large, Katy is also the proud mom of a fierce two-year-old named Blaise.
