Alex is the father of Abe, who has Recessive Dystrophic EB. One of Abe’s mutations is a nonsense mutation. To help Abe live, and live well, Alex founded Nonsense Tx; a small molecule approach to reading through premature termination codons.

Alex is also the President & founder of Zencargo, a robust supply chain company with 150+ employees, ~$100m capital raised. He was CEO from its founding in 2017 to 2024.

Alex started his career at Goldman Sachs and subsequently was a VP at Cerberus Capital Management.

Alex graduated from the London School of Economics with an Economics major, First Class Honors.
